HOW YOUR DATA IS PROCESSED ON OUR WEBSITE

WEBSITE PROVISION

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's computer environment. The site contains email addresses and other contact references, such as data collection forms (contact form) or instant chat service. The data transmitted by the entirely optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender's email address, necessary to respond to requests, identification data, and any other personal data entered by the user in the message.

Such data will be processed exclusively to respond to requests in fulfillment of the offered service and until the request is fulfilled.

PURCHASE OF OUR PRODUCTS

If you decide to purchase our products through the e-commerce portal, we will process your data to manage the purchase, organize the shipment, and payment for the goods you ordered.

This data can be freely entered by you or communicated to us through third-party access and recognition systems such as PayPal and GooglePay, indicated in the shopping cart section.

Retargeting campaigns:

If you have visited our website and where you have given consent to the use of profiling and marketing cookies, including the Facebook Pixel, through the analysis of information relating to interests, purchases, and their periodicity, you will be offered targeted advertising for products marketed by Gensan.

You will always have the option to manage the consent previously given both through the consent management systems on our website and through your Facebook account settings. Prospecting campaigns:

This type of campaign is carried out using data held by Meta on the Facebook platform and based on the settings identified by the individual accounts of the platform users. Gensan selects user types based on certain types of information, such as sport and nutrition, type of purchases and relationship, and asks Meta to propose its advertising. In this case, the processing is carried out by Meta as the Data Controller; Gensan is provided exclusively with statistical reports relating to the type of user to whom the advertising was subjected without having precise access to your data.

Newsletter campaigns:

If you consent to marketing activities, we will use your email to send you periodic communications to offer you dedicated offers, event participation, and promote Gensan products or services of your interest.

For all marketing activities, you maintain control over your data and can at any time contact Gensan to revoke any consent given or request to be excluded from one or more types of advertising campaigns.

We remind you that, with the exception of aggregated data that cannot be directly attributed to you collected in the conduct of campaigns, we will process your data until you revoke your consent.

SHARING OF YOUR DATA

The personal data provided will be processed by authorized personnel, duly instructed and operating under the authority and responsibility of the Data Controller. Personal data may also be processed by third parties who provide instrumental services, including communication services, email, hosting and website maintenance, and other service providers related to the aforementioned purposes. Only data strictly necessary for the performance of their respective functions will be communicated to the aforementioned parties.

Some of our suppliers are located outside the European Union, and in such cases, we have adopted data transfer mechanisms deemed suitable and adequate to the data protection regulations and in particular to Chapter V of the GDPR.

Gensan s.r.l. uses technologies, security measures, rules, and other procedures (e.g., minimization and pseudonymization) to protect users' personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, loss, or destruction in accordance with articles 25-32 of the GDPR. To ensure data confidentiality, Gensan s.r.l. uses firewalls and password protection systems compliant with industry standards.

MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF DATA PROVISION AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL TO RESPOND

You are free to provide the personal data requested in the application forms for the purchase of products or services on the site; however, failure to provide the mandatory data will make it impossible to obtain the desired product or service.
